In 1998 Patti Black, the owner of Black Ink, grew her love of paper and ink into a small business in Pacific Palisades, California. Her stationery and gift shop soon became a meeting place for friends and THE place to go for gifts, custom invitations, and whatever you needed to help you through the major milestones in life.

In May of 2012 Patti developed her own specialty line of luxury notepads that she knew people would love. And they did! The notepads sold out the first day of the first gift show where they were introduced.

Twenty-five years later, Black Ink has shuttered its storefront in the Palisades, but Patti has gathered a collection of all her favorites here online, available to order any time. This includes the notepad collection, which has grown from a set of 26 initial notepads to 146 different styles and expressions.
